 I had no clue what to expect this morning when I got on the scale.  Earlier in the week, I weighed myself & had actually gained a little bit of weight back :(  So once again, I was a little afraid to get on the scale, but I did it & yep, this is a VERY Happy 4th of July for me :)  I'm down another 1.2 lbs. for a total of 13.8 lbs. to date :)  When I reach 15 lbs. lost, I'm going to have to do something to really celebrate!  Any ideas out there?

Any ideas out there?  I never thought I would be able to lose weight before. I thought I was destined to be fat! Heck, I never thought I would enjoy exercising before, either! Sure, there are some days when I just can't get 'into' working out, but I push myself to do it anyway because I've made this a part of my life now. And it really is fun to exercise if you make it fun! I'm currently trying to do at least an hour of cardio between the treadmill, elliptical, bike & stair master each time I go to the gym. And now I've even started doing some of the classes there as well.
Thank-you for all the comments you've left. Whether you know it or not, those comments help even more to keep Toni & I motivated :) And I think Toni will agree with me on this.....if we can do this, anyone can do it!

Benita, this is GREAT!! Wow! I think that the hour-long sessions of cardio are really the key for me...
Hmmm...for your 15-lb treat, how about a facial, manicure or pedicure?

congrats on the loss! I love my exercise bike- just slide in a DVD and pedal! Buy yourself a new something blingy for your weight loss- for either the scrapbook or the fingers!
Wowzers 13 pounds is a huge accomplishment. You can do it ! I have gained 30 pounds recently since a Breast Cancer scare and I need to get motivated for sure -Wishing you the best !!!!!
