I completely forgot to update yesterday after doing my weekly weigh-in. It wasn't a big loss this week, but still a loss nonetheless......another 0.8 lbs. gone for a total of 14.6 lbs. :) I'm hoping that next week, I'll make it to that 15 lb. mark!
Yesterday was a pretty depressing day for me, which is probably why I didn't update until now :( Jim & I found a house that we absolutely love, but we're not sure if we can afford it or not. The really good thing about it, it's in a newer subdivision right behind the one we live in now, so it would be SO easy to move & the area is perfect for us :) I told myself I wouldn't get my hopes up, but that's already happened, which is why I was depressed. I didn't even go to the gym yesterday & ate way more than I should have :( Someone smack my hands, please ;)
But today is a new day! A fresh start! I know that I'm going to have those off days along the way, but I'm not going to fail! I refuse to fail!
Off to the gym :)

It all started on April 25, 2008. Jim & I decided that enough was enough & we joined our local gym. We try to work out at least 5 days a week, although sometimes our schedules are crazy. I have also started working at the gym.....gotta love that free membership :)
I made this blog as I thought it would be a great place to get support (and give support to anyone else stopping by), while at the same time keeping a record of my journey down the weight loss road.
I hope to post an update once a week with my progress & stats, as well as my struggles along the way. My ultimate goal is to lose 111.6 pounds.

(((hugs))) about the house, Benita - and WELL DONE with your loss! I think we've both had a tough week this week - I didn't get to the gym much and I ate way more than I should - just "one of those week", I guess. I'm disappointed in myself but I'm not going to let it get me down TOO much!
I bet when I come back from Hawaii you'll have posted that you made 15lbs - I know you can do it! And good for you for getting right back into the gym!

15 lbs is so close - I'm sure you'll do it this week! It could be the differeence between wearing socks and weighing in barefoot!!! Each day is a new day to start all over, so never give up!!!
And about the house... we made an offer on our first one (many moons ago). It was turned down for a higher bid. We kept looking but never found another we liked. A month later, the original offer fell through and they accepted ours! It was the best birthday present I had gotten at the time! So story goes, never give up. Your dream can still come true!!! I'm praying for ya!
